We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to be the Team Manager of a Locality team. ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE A QUALIFIED SOCIAL WORKER, REGISTERED WITH SOCIAL WORK ENGLAND About the team You will be leading a team of socials workers, support workers and a principal social worker. The teamwork from a strengths-based approach utilising models such as Signs of Safety and Reunification Framework to guide practice and meet the needs of children, young people and their families. You will be responsible for ensuring an excellent standard of work practice exists within the teams, and to develop the knowledge of research, practice developments, new initiatives, and procedures and to utilise these in supervision and when planning for children. About the role You will need a degree in Social Work, with significant experience in Child Protection, Children in Need, Looked After Children, or a background in Children Front-line services. Also previous experience in managing a team of social workers would be ideal. What's on offer? Salary up to £48,474 Generous annual leave starting at 27 days.
