About you:
 
As a Market Analyst/Researcher, you'll be at the forefront of the booming offshore wind industry, contributing to strategic decision-making and shaping the future of sustainable energy.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Conduct in-depth research on regulatory and policy developments, technology advancements, cost dynamics, and supply chain trends in global offshore wind and subsea power cable markets.
  • Lead in producing insightful quarterly reports and webinars, providing analysis on key market trends and dynamics.
  • Engage in numerical analysis, forecasting, modelling, and supply & demand analysis.
  • Ensure data entry and maintain quality control of databases.
  • Contribute to bespoke consultancy projects and drive product/business development initiatives.
  • Actively engage with clients, addressing requests efficiently, and developing a personal network within the industry.
  • Network and present at industry events, showcasing expertise and fostering connections.
 
 
Qualifications and Requirements:
 
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in a technical, numeric, or business-related discipline, or strong research and writing skills (e.g., journalism). Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
  • Passionate about renewables and the energy transition.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and research skills.
  • Additional language skills, numerical proficiency, statistical knowledge, and familiarity with MS Access/SQL or Geographical Information Systems are desirable.
  • A self-starter with a proactive attitude, taking ownership of work completeness and quality.
