WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Supporting the design team with day to day requests across both apparel and print/graphic designing.
  • Training interns and overseeing their workload.
  • Admin support on multiple categories.
  • Assisting designers with fitting garments and technical packs.
  • Working directly with UK & overseas suppliers.
  • Chasing samples and working to a critical path.
  • Deliver results within specified time frames.
  • Seasonal Trend research and presentation packs.
  • Build and maintaining close links with buying and design teams.

As an Design Assistant you will have an excellent understanding of the PLT brand and customer. You will be a highly creative an innovative induvial who is keen to be ahead of the latest trends.

  • Hand drawing, Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator experience are required.
  • A passion about apparel, print & graphic design.
  • Is highly organised, keeping accurate records of developments actioned, filing and managing supplier submissions, going above and beyond in your completion tasks.
  • As a Design Assistant you should be highly motivated, an active listener and a proactive thinker.
  • Comfortable working at pace. Agility is something you pride yourself on.
  • A team player. Someone who enjoys going above and beyond to support others in the team where needed, especially during peak times.
