As a Systems & Tools Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the tools and systems that drive our game development process.

We are dedicated to creating AAA games that deliver immersive experiences to our players and with this generalist role, you'll be at the heart of taking our projects to the next level.

This role includes supporting;

• Tool Engineering (Engine UI + Tool UX)
• Audio Engineering
• UI Framework
• Various input devices & platform features
• Provide maintenance and upgrades within Unreal Engine
• Configure and manage build process (CI/CD)
• Support all developers including artists and designers
• Set standards by example
• Profile and optimise build process and the build itself
• Help with continuous improvement of processes and pipelines

Requirements

What you'll need to smash this role;

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Strong programming skills in C++ and scripting languages (Python, Lua, etc.)
• Experience developing tools and systems for game development
• Knowledge of software engineering principles and best practices
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Passion for gaming and staying up-to-date with industry trends
• Experience with game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity
