About your new role

As part of our continued growth, we’re on the lookout for an experienced software tester to work within a diverse project team with some of our exciting global clients. You will be testing our web-based applications, writing test scripts, investigating, recreating and testing potential bugs as well as regression testing. 

Within this role, you’ll be focussed on a few things: the security, service availability and quality of our systems. You’ll have the chance to work alongside not only our other talented testers, but our developers, project managers, business analysts, client managers and translations team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Software Tester, you are expected to take on the following responsibilities as part of your day to day:

  • Executing test scripts to identify bugs or issues.
  • Estimating stories.
  • Producing technical procedures and documentation for the applications, including user guides.
  • Robust automation and manual testing of systems prior to implementation, in accordance with testing and acceptance methodologies.
  • Producing testing reports.
  • Writing test scripts and testing estimations, as well as creating test data.
  • Taking part in peer reviews and mentoring more junior members of the team.
  • Regression, Accessibility and Security testing.
  • Participating in team meetings and stand-ups.

Requirements

To be successful for this role, you will ideally meet these requirements:

  • At least 4 years experience in an automation testing role.
  • A track record in delivering end to end testing in development lifecycle.
  • Experience working within an agile framework.
  • Experience or interest in coaching and developing junior team members.
  • An ability to effectively prioritise workload.
  • Able to effectively and openly communicate ideas amongst the team. 
  • The initiative to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable: 

  • Experience with API Testing.
  • Demonstrable experience of automation with Playwright with Typescript/JavaScript.
  • Experience with Postman.
  • Experience working with HTML and CSS.
  • Experience of communicating with customers and stakeholders.
  • ISTQB certified or working towards.
