We’re looking for an enthusiastic junior-to-mid level full stack engineer to join our web team. You’ll be working across a range of projects, new and old, simple and complex - you’ll be given plenty of room to spread your wings and grow as an engineer, whilst being given the support to do so by a well established team.

The day-to-day will involve working on migrating old functionality to newer applications as well as carving out brand new functionality led by increasingly data driven decisions. There are plenty of exciting challenges both at our feet and on the horizon, with ample opportunity to take ownership over problems & take your skills to the next level.

Primary tasks and objectives

You’ll be working in the web team, which forms part of the “tech org” within the company - there are plenty of opportunities for cross-pollination with teams focusing on other disciplines, both engineering focused and elsewhere; from our product developers to our plugin engineers to our marketing executives & product owners - we’re set up to get you involved, help you develop a rich set of skills and make an impact.

What we’re looking for

  • PHP development experience
  • Experience with MVC (model-view-controller) architecture and OO (object-orientated) programming
  • Experience with Vue 3 or recent versions of React
  • Knowledge of what makes code testable and the benefits of testing
  • Self-starting, high-agency, creative problem solver
  • Experience with Git for version control
  • Comfortable working in pairing sessions or taking simpler tasks for solo completion
