Are you eager to shape the future of legal technology? As a Product focused Software Engineer at Orbital Witness, you'll play a critical role in the development of our AI-powered legal assistant specifically designed to transform property law, Orbital Copilot. Launched just under six months ago, Orbital Copilot has rapidly made significant strides, thanks to being at the forefront of applying Large Language Models within the legal sector. This innovation has not only set us apart as early leaders, but has also tapped into the growing realisation across the legal industry about the indispensable role of AI. At Orbital Witness, the company known for pioneering legal tech solutions used by many of the UK’s top law firms, you'll have the unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge Generative AI technology, improving the efficiency and accessibility of legal services in the property industry.

What You'll Do:

• Product Engineering: Engage in comprehensive Full Stack development, crafting intuitive Frontend interfaces and robust Backend solutions. We’re looking for someone with a specialism in Frontend engineering, using React, but the skills to work with Python too
• Innovate: Experiment and implement the latest cutting-edge technologies in Generative AI, ensuring Orbital Copilot remains a pioneer in the legal tech industry.
• Product Influence: Being a Product Engineer means working in a dynamic team where every line of code can pivot the product’s journey towards market leadership. Your contributions will have a direct impact on our growth and success.
• Collaborate: Join forces with a cross-functional team to design and refine solutions that enhance user engagement. Your ideas and expertise will not only be valued but will be vital in shaping user experience and our product strategy.

What you'll be using:

We're Looking for Someone Who Can:

• Boast 4+ years of hands-on experience with React.js and Typescript
• Work with both Frontend and Backend technologies
• Navigate complex technical challenges with a strategic mindset.
• Commit to rapid shipping, eager customer feedback, and swift product iterations.
• Demonstrate a passion for superior UI/UX design, advocating for scalable and maintainable code.
• Exhibit outstanding communication skills and fluency in English.
• Show a track record of delivering intricate software projects with significant scale and scope.
