Your new company

My client a leading and one of the largest food manufacturer based in Chester is seeking a professional Senior HR Business partner to join their growing team of a permanent basis.
They pride them selves on their innovative approach and have a national and European presence.


Your new role

The position is being offered as full time Monday to Friday with free parking on site.
A hybrid model is in place however flexibility will be needed due to the nature of the business.
0-2 days per week from home.
You will be responsible to provide complete HRBP activities to support the Head Office and the Group HR Director based in offices in Chester
You will be required to help shape and lead the future HR strategy/model and be responsible for specific topics creation and/or deployment. Working directly with the Executive leadership team and in close collaboration with the Group HR Director
Some of your duties will include but not limited to.

Implement and develop performance management approach, tools, training, communication, engagement, monitoring.
Recruitment strategies Analyse and design, implement, to address needs of the business, looking at cost, time to hire, demographics.
Design and implement blended learning approaches
Develop full suite of policies and procedures, ensuring that they are fit for the needs of the business and that adequate training and tracking is in place
Learning & Development: Track L&D activities, coordination of training events and material; identify areas that need attention and improvement
Bonus & recognition programs: Give advice on reward topics and support employees on company benefits
Policy & procedure implementation: Ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current employment law


What you'll need to succeed

Confident in your approach and ability to to speak to all levels of staff
Have tenacity, passion and positivity
Proven track record of a minimum 5 years as a HR Business Partner ideally within a manufacturing environment,
Ability to build rapport quickly with the members of the management team.
Confident in advising managers on all aspects of HR, especially people management and development
Proven experience in managing business transfer, redundancy or other relevant HR projects. Experience in change management is a plus
A professional and commercial approach to HR, with the ability to deliver high employee satisfaction, appropriate development and reward for individuals
Willingness to travel to other sites as needed
