Product Engineer - 9 Month FTC

Salary/Rate:
£40,000 - £50,000/annum

Our client, a global organisation is currently recruiting for a Product Engineer to join the team for a 9-month, fixed term contract. Working closely to support the team with on-going efforts to support the implementation of new processes, products, and materials.

Key duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with wider team members to implement ideas and tools to improve efficiency and test coverage.
  • Create and implement software and hardware solutions to deliver test solutions against provided timescales and budgets.
  • Define new test equipment to assist with testing, verification and production testing.
  • Implement test solutions for verification and validation of products to ensure they are meeting company standards.
  • Support with new product development through to manufacture.
  • Define standards and processes for new test designs for large scale manufacture purposes.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience working within Product Engineering and test environments.
  • Degree qualified in Engineering / Physics or a similar field.
  • Exceptional organisational and communicational skills.
  • Experience with Python and LabView.
  • Able to apply methodical thinking and problem solving to review assembly and test methods.
  • Experience with hardware testing.
  • Debug experience.
