Sales / Customer Service Assistant

M4 Recruitment are looking for a Sales / Customer Service Assistant to work for a the UK’s largest distributor of decorative surfaces specialising in flooring, worktops, laminates, compact, panel products, solid surface and wall panelling.
Monday - Friday (0700 - 1700)
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Customer Focused
- Problem solving ability relating to customer service
- PC literate
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent administration skills
- Proven sales background
- Proactive sales calling
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
Key Results Areas
- Ensuring all orders are processed accurately and on time, in full.
- Ensure customer quotations and customer correspondence are completed in a professional manner.
- All cash handling must be dealt with in line with company policy.
- Achieve sales and margin targets of the branch.
- Target new customers.
- Follow up all enquiries.
- Ensure that all held orders are chased and customers contacted for payments.
- Help out with stock take.
- Non stock and stock purchasing.
- Complete all sales reports as required, i.e. footfalls, lost orders etc…
