Divisional Director – Land Development

This global practice with a strong presence across the UK are seeking to appoint a  Divisional Director  who will report to the Land Development Director with a focus on direct relationships with Sector Directors to deliver the wider strategic aims of the business. The role will be to form and lead their Newcastle office by building on the company`s existing regional workload whilst being supported by the wider Land Development team. It is a unique opportunity to lead their growth plans in this region and build on their recent success in other regional centres.

Ideally a Civil Engineering or Transport Planning Professional with experience of private sector development work, working with landowners, housebuilders, developers to secure planning consent and delivery of new infrastructure.  You will possess between 10 to 15 years’ experience in this field and be familiar with the North-east market where you will be expected to have significant regional client contacts and have been responsible for building a portfolio of client projects.

You will be client facing with the ability to build a portfolio of new work in the region, using both private sector contacts primarily and also the company’s network of Local Authority framework contracts. Additionally an ability to work collaboratively with other land development teams across the UK.

This role would suit individuals from a variety of technical disciplines such as Transport, Highways, Flooding and similar development related services.
