£60,000 - £70,000/annum

Our well established client base in the Boston area are looking to recruit a Financial Controller on a fulltime permanent basis. Our client is going through a significant period of growth and are looking to strengthen the Finance function fo the business. 

The role will involve the day-to-day management of the finance function (although you report to the FD).

Job Role: -

• Prepare and present accurate and timely monthly accounts and commentary, highlighting progress against Business Plan and KPIs and make financial recommendations

• Analyse and report relevant financial and commercial information to support business decision-making

• Support board decision-making through monthly analysis of budget and forecast variances and reporting against business plan

• Support company financial strategy and decision making by identifying opportunities for greater operational efficiencies and margin improvements, risk assessment and mitigation and tracking business performance against that of competitors

• Manage cash and working capital, supported by appropriate cash flow forecasts

• Ensure all financial systems and processes are robust, fit for purpose and minimise the opportunity for fraud.

• Lead, manage, mentor and motivate a small finance team, with emphasis on personal development and training

To be considered for this role you will be fully Qualified and have worked in a similar role within Finance ideally within a manufacturing business.
