Are you an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician looking for a new role with a fantastic growing company?

Our client is expanding rapidly and are looking for new staff to join their team and grow with them. You will be joining a very friendly team with one of the UK’s vehicle hire companies who are always wanting to help and work together to achieve the best results possible!

Main:

  • 42.5 hours a week
  • Monday - Friday + 1 in 3 Saturday Mornings
  • 8am to 5pm with 1 hour break – Saturdays 8am-12pm rota paid at OT rate 1 ½
  • Salary between £35,000 - £41,500 OTE
  • Bonus Scheme - £600 per quarter roughly £2400 per year
  • Training bonus available up to £1500 a year

The Role of a Vehicle Technician:

  • Carry out services on all makes and models of vehicles
  • Pre and post MOT repairs
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles - such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation
  • Identify issues with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment
  • General maintenance and repairs
  • Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs)
  • Suspension work
  • Repairs on lights
  • Repairing and replacing exhausts
  • Repairing and replacing clutches
  • Dealing with gearboxes
  • Plan and keep up to date records of repair procedures using charts manuals and experience.
  • Test the functionality of parts and systems once repairs are completed

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

  • NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 3 or Level 2 accepted with a minimum of 5 years services
  • Hold a full valid driver license.
  • MOT Tester Certificate highly desirable but not essential
