Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team as a Web Designer/Social Media Manager. In this dual role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining our company website, as well as managing our social media presence to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

Part Time - Twice a week

Key Responsibilities:

Website Design and Development:

  • Design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly web pages that reflect our brand identity and values.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content, graphics, and multimedia elements for the website.
  • Ensure website functionality and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
  • Conduct regular website maintenance, including updating content, optimising performance, and fixing any issues or bugs.

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive traffic to the website, and engage with our target audience.
  • Create and curate relevant and engaging content for posting on social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers on social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analyse social media performance metrics and generate reports to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.

Content Creation and Curation:

  • Produce high-quality visual and written content for both the website and social media platforms, including blog posts, articles, infographics, videos, and photos.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather content and information for publication.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in web design, social media, and digital marketing to ensure our online presence remains innovative and competitive.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a web designer, graphic designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative work.
  • Proficiency in web design and development tools and technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress.
  • Experience managing social media accounts for businesses, with a deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and insights to inform decision-making and optimise performance.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for design and digital marketing.
