A Degree qualified (Computer Science) Software Engineer with solid C++ skills as well as a good understanding of software testing techniques, will join the Dublin team of an established High-Tech company.  Hybrid working available and fantastic benefits package. Applicants will be highly proficient in C++ (preferred) or C; have some knowledge of other languages such as C# / Rust or Python and have some experience of developing high performance / multi-threaded applications on Windows, Linux and/or MacOS.

You’ll be a key member of a talented team of software engineers and testers creating development  tools used by game developers - ensuring quality and robustness throughout.

Essential skills include:

• A minimum of a 1st / 2.1 in Computer Science (although equivalent relevant experience considered).
• Strong C++ skills (ideally) or C.
• Some commercial software development experience.
•  Proven understanding of software testing techniques including writing unit tests.
• Excellent problem solving skills.

Desirable skills include:

• Developing high performance applications on Windows, Linux and/or MacOS.
• UI/UX design.
• Other languages such as Python, C# and/or Rust.
• Front-end web development; back-end development; database technologies; Web Servers.

A generous salary will be offered up to 80K Euros (depending on your level of experience) with Hybrid working (after initial weeks spent in office) which could be as little as one in-office regular day per week.
