Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer seeking a new challenge? We're hiring in Bradford! Join our client and take charge of both preventative and reactive maintenance operations. Here's what we're looking for:
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct reactive maintenance on production machinery, ensuring seamless operations.
- Be the first responder to issues, ensuring a comfortable and safe working environment.
- Lead the installation of small works projects, focusing on 6S and production improvements.
- Play a crucial role during new capital installations, ensuring smooth integration into existing systems.
- Collaborate with and assist external contractors as needed, ensuring effective project completion.
- Uphold company policies, procedures, and standards, promoting a culture of good health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Maintain housekeeping standards to 6S standards, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
- Fulfill any reasonable ad-hoc duties requested by management, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar role in a production-based environment.
- Level 3 NVQ or higher in Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and documentation.
- Valid driving license, 3a and 3b MEWP license, and counterbalance FLT license required (training provided).
- Willingness to support various maintenance needs, including reactive, planned preventative, and facility maintenance.
