Workday Financials Cutover Manager

I'm seeking an experienced Workday Financials Cutover Manager to lead the critical transition phase from legacy systems to Workday Financials. This role requires a highly organized individual with strong leadership skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proven track record of successful ERP cutovers.

As the Workday Financials Cutover Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all activities related to the cutover from legacy financial systems to Workday Financials.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed cutover plans, timelines, and checklists to ensure a smooth transition to Workday Financials.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify critical cutover tasks, dependencies, and potential risks, and create contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Coordinate all cutover activities, including data migration, system testing, user training, and post-cutover support.
  • Communicate cutover plans and progress to project stakeholders, providing regular updates on milestones, risks, and issues.
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure system stability and performance during the cutover period.
  • Lead cutover rehearsals and "dress rehearsals" to validate cutover processes and timelines.
  • Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure successful completion of all required testing phases before cutover.
  • Manage the cutover go/no-go decision process, providing recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and security standards during the cutover process.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in ERP implementations, with at least 2 successful end-to-end Workday ERP cutovers.
  • Strong understanding of Workday Financials and its modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, and Expense Management.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
