HGV Driver Class 2

Monday to Friday - Working hours – 6:15am- 3:00pm - 40 Hours PW

(Overtime available) from 48 hour per week

Payrate – Starting from £13.26 - £14 per hour

MHR is currently recruiting for a Class 2 driver, for one of our partnered clients that has rapidly grown to become one of the largest independent waste management companies in Scotland,   They have sites in Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Scottish borders, The company is currently looking for someone that can work fulltime hours with the potential view of fulltime employment to add to their passionate team, who will be dedicated to the team to do tipper, skip, RORO, and trade work.

Drivers will be required to leave the yard no later than 6.30am depending on any defects that is required to be fixed before the vehicle leaves that yard.

**Essential requirements/Duties for this role**

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 2 Licence (with no more than 6 points)

• Must have knowledge of the Glasgow surrounding belt.

• Must be able to follow and carry out all H&S standard rules.

• Must be able to Carry out and record daily checks.

• Must be able to Provide good customer service to our customers.

• Must be able to attend and follow training and instructions provided.

• Must be able to provide General housekeeping of the working area and lorry.

• Must be an experienced driver with at least 2 years’ experience.

• Have Skip experience (Preferred)

• Have Multidrop experience (Essential)

• Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card
