Headquartered in the beautiful Tweed Valley, they are a growing business with a strong online presence and a welcoming retail showcase.

Valeco Recruitment are delighted to be working exclusively with this brand in hiring into another newly created role, based at their offices in Walkerburn, Scottish Borders(please not this is not a hybrid role)

The Opportunity:

We're seeking a highly motivated Marketing & Operations Assistant to join our clients small hands on team. This role offers a unique blend of responsibilities across both marketing and operational functions, promising a fast-paced and exciting work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Stock Management: Support inventory control, reconciliation, and photoshoot preparation

·        Customer Service Excellence: Respond promptly to customer inquiries across email, social media, and online chat.

·        Website Administration: Upload products and content, identify and report errors.

·        Social Media Support: Assist with scheduling, engagement, and customer interaction.

·        Event & Photoshoot Logistics: Help coordinate smooth execution.

·        Excel Proficiency: Utilize your Excel skills for data organization and analysis.

·        Additional Support: Proofreading, image cataloging, PR/ambassador outreach, and general team assistance.

Who You Are:

Essential Skills:

o   Hardworking, proactive, and enthusiastic.

o   Team player with the ability to excel independently.

o   Adaptable and resourceful problem-solver.

o   Previous experience in a similar role.

o   Strong organisational skills.

o   Excellent verbal and written communication.

o   Proficient in Microsoft Excel 

Nice to Haves:

o   Customer service experience.

o   Familiarity with social media scheduling tools.

o   Website administration background.

o   Event planning skills.
