Responsibilities:

  • Customise support to meet the unique learning needs of students with SEN.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
  • Assist in overall classroom management, promoting a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Establish open lines of communication with parents, teachers, and external professionals.
  • Regularly observe and assess the academic and social development of students with SEN.
  • Adapt teaching materials and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in various teaching techniques suitable for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Comprehensive understanding of child development and the learning process.
  • Either possess an Enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one through Randstad.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
