About the Role:
GSL Education is recruiting a passionate and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive primary school in Sheffield. This role involves working closely with students to address behavioural issues and promote positive social and emotional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support and guidance to students exhibiting challenging behaviour.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions in collaboration with teaching staff.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies as required to support student wellbeing.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience working with children or young people, particularly in a behavioural support role.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate empathy, resilience, and a non-judgmental approach to supporting students.
  • Show a commitment to promoting positive behaviour and enhancing student outcomes.
