About the Role:
GSL Education is recruiting a passionate and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive primary school in Sheffield. This role involves working closely with students to address behavioural issues and promote positive social and emotional development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support and guidance to students exhibiting challenging behaviour.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions in collaboration with teaching staff.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
- Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies as required to support student wellbeing.
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience working with children or young people, particularly in a behavioural support role.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate empathy, resilience, and a non-judgmental approach to supporting students.
- Show a commitment to promoting positive behaviour and enhancing student outcomes.
