About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join a supportive SEN school in Sheffield. This role involves providing personalised support to students with special educational needs to help them achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support and assistance to students with special educational needs.
- Assist with classroom activities and learning tasks, adapting materials as required.
- Support students' social and emotional development, promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to implement individualised support plans.
The successful candidate will:
- Have prior experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.
- Demonstrate empathy, patience, and resilience in supporting students with diverse needs.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Show a genuine commitment to inclusive education and promoting the rights of all students.
