Shift Pattern:
- Monday-Friday, 8 Hour Shifts.
- 3-Shift System (Early, Back & Night).
The Job You’ll Do;
- Attend and resolve equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Follow and improve preventative maintenance plans with the aim of reducing unplanned down time.
- Ensure the annual PPM schedule is adhered to and completed as required.
- Ensure that planned maintenance follow up work is recorded and carried out in a timely manner.
- Support root cause investigations for repetitive breakdowns and to implement permanent solutions.
- Be involved in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement activities.
- Assist with relevant project work where engineering involvement is required.
- Ensure line efficiency is improved through timely repair, maintenance and improvement of equipment.
- Ensure quality is improved and spoilage is reduced through timely repair, maintenance and improvement of equipment.
About You;
- Recognised electrical engineering qualification, four-year electrical apprenticeship, with a minimum of City & Guilds part 2 / NVQ level three qualifications.
- City & Guilds 18th Edition.
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
- Have the skills to maintain and fault find on electrical and automated systems.
- Strong methodical approach to problem solving.
- Experience with PLCs.
