HLC Software Developer/Tester

Contract Length - 6 months (expected)

Location - initial 12 weeks in Belfast, remote/home working for the remaining duration

Required Security Clearance - DV or higher

Description -

One of Secure Innovations projects requires an HLC Software Developer/Tester to support the deployment of a solution at a client site, including the testing. The work will also include software development, at client locations and remotely. The work will require the skills and knowledge summarised below and will require the hands-on deployment and test of the system both on the client's site and the engineering environment. The role will also require the active knowledge acquisition of the system from the existing team members.

Key duties and responsibilities -

• Hands-on deployment of software packages.
• Hands-on configuration of software.
• Hands-on debug and problem resolution.
• Documentation update to reflect as-is build status.
• Active knowledge acquisition of the operation and understanding of the system from the existing specialist.
• User instruction and guidance.

Skills & knowledge required -

Essential knowledge of:

* Java - Essential

Desirable knowledge:

* REST - Desirable
* Azure DevOps Desirable
* Code testing and debug. Desirable
* GitHub and software packaging.
* Springboot
* Maven
* Microsoft Azure Administration.
