Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased)

Due to business growth we are hiring a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our expanding customer who are a market leader in their field.

 As a maintenance engineer, you will be at the forefront of the business with the skills and expertise to support the operations of our manufacturing processes, therefore previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment is essential. 

Within your role, your main responsibility is to take ownership of the reactive and proactive maintenance needs of the business. Duties include:

• Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance and engineering
• Breakdown response
• Carry out reactive fault-finding diagnostics and repair
• Monitor the machines performance
• Support in the identification and installations of new machinery
• To maintain and improvement our maintenance schedule of equipment and machines

Main goals within the role;

• To minimise machine downtime and strive towards continuous improvement
• To be in a supportive within each department of our business
• To work in a team, or independently to effectively resolve problems

Main skills required for the role;

• Comfortable of working at heights
• Comfortable of working in confined spaces
• Ability to follow and fault find using electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic and engineering drawings
• Talented problem solver / fault finding
• Diagnostics
• Electrical experience
• Previous knowledge of CNC machinery
• PLC experience
• Investigative mind

Essential Qualifications:

• Electrical HNC
• Time served
• Level 3 in Maintenance or Engineering
• Maintenance experience gained within manufacturing
• 18th Edition

The role is full time permanent, on a day shift pattern, there is ample opportunity for overtime during peaks of production.
