• Hourly wage between £13.84 - £14.87

• 36.5 hours per week.
• 6 month contract.

The Role:

As a R&D Laboratory Technologist, your responsibilities will include:

• Completing development, qualification, pre-compliance and audit testing for respiratory protection products
• Supporting the Quality management system to maintain current certifications and accreditation of the R&D laboratory
• Understanding and updating test methods and documentation as required
• Managing consumables for test equipment
• Collaborating with the R&D team, product engineers, developers, certification and compliance teams

The Candidate:

The ideal R&D Laboratory Technologist will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Understanding of respiratory protection products and their testing requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to understand and interpret data
• Awareness of EN standards, Gas and Vapor testing methods, Reusable Respirators, and Powered and Supplied Air product
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Teams and Minitab

The Package:

The R&D Laboratory Technologist role offers an hourly wage between £13.84 - £14.87. The role is based in Aycliffe and does not require any travel or relocation.
