Exciting Opportunity: Compliance Engineer
We are seeking a Compliance Engineer to join globally renowned leader in designing and manufacturing defence and military equipment.
The engineer will take responsible for leading product compliance against customer contractual requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate product testing internally and externally
- Ensure designs comply with standards
- Review and approve test plans & reports
- Maintain adherence to CE directives
- Develop technical construction files
- Conduct design reviews and manage ILS requirements
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and documentation
- Collaborate with illustrators and engineers on procedures
Experience and Skills:
- Knowledge of compliance, legislation & standards
- Degree in engineering
- Logical problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Strong IT and communication skills
Ideal Candidate:
- Deadline-oriented and takes ownership of projects
- Builds relationships across all business levels
- Demonstrates commitment, flexibility, and enthusiasm
- Experience with mobile equipment and defense (desirable)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001 systems
- Experience with 3D CAD systems
- ILS Experience.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
What’s on offer:
- Competitive salary range: £30,000 to £40,000 (DOE)
