£30,000 - £40,000/annum

Exciting Opportunity: Compliance Engineer

We are seeking a Compliance Engineer to join globally renowned leader in designing and manufacturing defence and military equipment.

The engineer will take responsible for leading product compliance against customer contractual requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate product testing internally and externally
  • Ensure designs comply with standards
  • Review and approve test plans & reports
  • Maintain adherence to CE directives
  • Develop technical construction files
  • Conduct design reviews and manage ILS requirements
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and documentation
  • Collaborate with illustrators and engineers on procedures

Experience and Skills:

  • Knowledge of compliance, legislation & standards
  • Degree in engineering
  • Logical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Strong IT and communication skills

Ideal Candidate:

  • Deadline-oriented and takes ownership of projects
  • Builds relationships across all business levels
  • Demonstrates commitment, flexibility, and enthusiasm
  • Experience with mobile equipment and defense (desirable)
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001 systems
  • Experience with 3D CAD systems
  • ILS Experience.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
