We are The Maintenance Team, a multi-skilled property services company, who have been established for well over a decade.

Our head office is based in Borehamwood Hertfordshire, and we are looking to hire an experienced property maintenance co-ordinator, reporting directly into our operations manager, supporting our daily business functions.

Salary

Starting at £32,500

Following successful completion of probation, a salary increase will be negotiable based on experience and ability

Key responsibilities

  • Processing and inputting customer job requests into the company CRM
  • Management of engineers jobs including logistical planning, budgets, tools, materials, parking and other on-site job related aspects
  • Provide management and support to our field based engineers, including technical assistance with troubleshooting and other ad-hoc issues
  • Update and maintain data within our company CRM
  • Liaising and coordinating appointments with occupants, clients and engineers
  • Communication of job progress updates, and completion reports to clients
  • Taking phone calls and responding to emails
  • Sourcing parts and materials for jobs, inc  working with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiation of pricing,  processing of orders, and delivery arrangements
  • General accounts administration  
  • Manage and maintain inventories of company stock and tools, and ensure health and safety records and policies are accurately maintained
  • Create new, as well as manage, develop, and maintain existing client relationships
  • Work alongside our software development team to assist with the creation, development, and enhancements of our company software platform
  • Management of the company vehicle fleet
  • Create, update, manage and maintain staff/contractor compliancy records
  • External site snagging and quotation inspections, client and supplier meetings (company vehicle provided for any offsite company appointments)
  • Other general office/company duties

The essentials

- Practical experience, and knowledge of building fabric and maintenance

- At least 2 years of experience working in the same or similar role

- Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft office (outlook, word and excel)

- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

- Ability to multi-task

- Possess abundant amounts of initiative and common sense (the more the better!)

- Enthusiastic and positive attitude

- Excellent organisational skills managing and prioritising a forever evolving task list

- Attention to detail and ability to ‘read between the lines’

- Demonstrate good judgement, problem solving and decision-making

The nice-to haves

- Qualifications or accreditations relevant to our industry

- Experience of building project management

- Previous onsite experience and/or working  ‘on the tools’

- Previous Health and safety training, and experience of safe working practices

- Ability to complete risk assessments and method statements

- Good humour :)
