Our client, who are Worldwide logistic experts, are looking for an Experienced Sales Executive to join their growing team. If you have a passion for Time critical operations within third party logistics, this position is perfect for you.

The purpose of the Sales Executive is to seek out potential customers, and using sales skills, knowledge, techniques, and all tools available to sell the company’s services and solutions. These sales will be of a high quality, address the customers’ needs fairly and be profitable for the company. The Sales Executive maintains ongoing customer relationships during onboarding of customers into services until the customer is fully handed over to Business Development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Driving growth of the business through the sales of company products, services & offerings to new customers
  • Generating new leads and maintaining a healthy pipeline.
  • Effectively communicate with potential new customers to drive both continued revenue, profit growth and increased engagement.
  • A proven ability to put the customer’s requirements at the heart of what we do, striving to deliver high quality customer service at all times.
  • Build and maintain strong and long-lasting relationships with customers and suppliers, quickly addressing their needs and ensuring any issues and challenges are resolved swiftly.
  • Communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of organisations.
  • Negotiating and finalizing contracts with prospective customers.
  • Visiting customer/potential customers to promote the company services.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing campaigns.
  • Understanding and promoting the company strategy.
  • Working closely and collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and KPI adherence.
  • Establishing key contacts, relationships, and connections across the wider sector.
  • Developing a deep understanding of the customers’ business including group and extended opportunities and competitive influences on the business
  • Networking opportunities and identifying customer competitors where the company could seize a marketing opportunity.
  • Ensuring potential customers are aware of the latest company solutions.
  • Identifying cross-functional service/product opportunities.
  • Work with operations and project teams to ensure swift and high-quality onboarding of customers into our client’s services.
  • Work with the Business Development team to transfer customers into the portfolio management process.
  • Manage multiple commercial processes (budgets, contract renegotiation, KPI measurement), forecasting precisely, and identifying the solutions we can offer resulting in a positive commercial outcome for the company and customers.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED INCLUDES:

Proven and successful track record of B2B sales and business development in the logistics industry.

Demonstrable achievements in a similar role within the logistics market.

Proven ability of generating new business opportunities within the logistics marketplace through increased engagement and identifying opportunities.

Strong understanding of working collaboratively across functions to achieve success.

Experience of working within a fast paced, high growth logistics environment.

Keeping direct manager and the business well informed

Full Clean Driving License

Uncapped Commission structure

Must be commutable to Redditch
