Junior Software Engineer

A leading multinational payments company is seeking a whole new, fully remote Software Engineers to join their European Tech wing.

This is a very successful company, with revenues in the hundreds of millions of dollars year on year. Engineers here are well rewarded, not just with generous salaries but also fantastic bonuses, benefits and opportunities for progression.

The main programming language for this role is C# with .NET however, having strong OOP experience in other languages will be beneficial. This company have a wide, varied product suite and are planning to modernise, rationalise and integrate their diverse systems wherever they can, so are interested in developers with excellent OOP fundamentals, rather than a focus on any one particular language.

Requirements

• 1-2+ years of Software Engineering experience commercially
• Strong academic record or equivalent experience
• Experience developing web-based applications through the entire SDLC
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Strong understanding of objective orientated principle
• Experience with at least one OOP language - C#, .NET, Java, Python
• Strong relational database knowledge and extensive SQL experience
• Experience with Design Patterns, Refactoring and OO Design
