We are currently looking for a Strategic Trend Manager for our client, a non-profit organisation that facilitates funding to UK-based research and development projects developing net-zero emission technologies. The successful candidate will bring market intelligence, supply chain and automotive demand and requirements together to support the team develop a strategic intervention plan.

The Strategic Trend Manager will:
- Lead the delivery of future road-mapping and other public facing activities.
- Identify key strategic R&D and capital linkages to highlight investments that helps secure a competitive long-term automotive supply chain.
- Maintain effective and close working relationships with potential investors as well as UK based suppliers and buyers to attract further investments into the UK strengthening the automotive supply chain.
- Deliver high-quality market and technology insights from the technology trends team across a wide range of automotive topics to inform and drive strategic decision making.
- Commission and manage external consultancies for specific projects.
The Strategic Trend Manager will have:
- Proven experience in market intelligence, strategic planning, and stakeholder management within the automotive industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
