We are currently recruiting passionate individuals for the role of HighLevel Teaching Assistant across our primary schools in Romsey. 

Position: High Level Teaching Assistant (TA) 
Location: Romsey 
Salary Scale: £12.82 - £15.50 per Hour 
Contract Type: Full-time 
 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Teaching assistant supporting class teacher and covering lessons during PPA time.

  • Collaborating closely with teachers to support lesson delivery and classroom activities. 

  • Providing targeted one-on-one or small group support to students as directed. 

  • Assisting in preparing engaging learning materials to enhance lesson effectiveness. 

  • Fostering positive relationships with students to support their social and emotional development. 

  • Implementing behavior support strategies in alignment with school policies to maintain a positive learning environment. 

Requirements: 

  • Previous experience in a similar primary school role as a High Level Teaching Assistant is advantageous but not essential. 

  • Demonstrated genuine passion for education and commitment to student well-being. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic educational environment. 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and other support staff for student success.
