Customer Sales Advisor

We have an amazing permanent career opportunity for a Customer Sales Advisor to join a fantastic team in Ward Park.

Our client is a national catering supplier who boasts a clientele of major household brands as part of their client base.If you enjoy speaking to an existing customer base, getting to put your own spin on how you deal with people over the phone, by email then this may be for you.

The office hours are 8.30 to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, and its really important to emphasise this is a team based environment and there are a number of staff working there for 20+ years – they are looking to increase their headcount and is a great time to be joining this team.

What’s your typical day?

Well, taking orders from your customers will be a key part of this role on a daily basis, you will be given special offers to present to your customers as part of a natural up-sell.

Your will work from databases and work regularly with Excel, discussing locked in preferred prices, promoting various offers and updating the system with key information.

Our client works to trackers on their system, using emails so you will be comfortable responding to customers verbally as well as on other platforms.

Building relationships is also a major factor in your role, we need to hear from candidates who actually enjoy engaging with people, who can go the extra mile and provide an exceptional service.

You will be expected to make calls from your call diary, this is to make sure repeat orders are captured, and you can use every opportunity to increase sales.

The salary on offer is £25100 (35 hour working week)

Experience preferred

- Proven experience in customer service or sales roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in using CRM software or similar tools
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
