Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor -
Location: Rosyth, Scotland
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
Duties and Responsibilities
Initial meeting with client and assessing project scope.
Producing accurate measures & take offs for projects.
Producing estimates & tenders for new projects
Produce and update procurement schedules for all projects.
Prepare the required documents to issue to subcontractors to enable them to tender effectively for works packages.
Identify appropriate subcontractors for all aspects of works.
Prepare client cost reports and billing.
Manage and monitor variations and changes.
Assist in the financial appraisal of new opportunities.
Work closely with architects and other professionals.
Navigate and understand building regulations & codes.
Process project paperwork and travel to sites as required.
Monitor costs and expenditure across the construction process.
Job Requirements
Experience of managing cost on projects within screeding, Insulation, Underfloor heating and resin flooring
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid experience in the construction industry
Experienced in creating detailed cost reports.
Experienced working within a principal building contractor
