International Biodiversity Specialist

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced ecologist to play a key role within the international biodiversity division of an award-winning global practice.

Offered with flexible working arrangements and based in any of their offices nationwide, you will be taking the lead on a diverse range of international ecological and biodiversity projects. These will include climate resilient cities, ecosystem restoration, habitat management and strategic planning to support ambitious biodiversity and climate change initiatives.

In this broad and influential role, you will be collaborating with other disciplines within the group to ensure best practice with a focus on biodiversity strategies, masterplanning, green infrastructure / nature based solutions and environmental impact.

You will be joining a highly regarded, passionate and supportive team of professionals where you can expect to play a role in management and mentoring of more junior team members too.

This is a client facing position, where you will be advising on range on initiatives including, Performance Standard 6 (PS6). Note; training will be provided if you are lacking this specific experience.

You will be responsible for project management, including; budgets, resourcing and technical report writing.

Profile ;

This role would suit an experienced ecologist with excellent communication skills and a strong technical background, developed from either the UK or Internationally.

Proven project management skills, with a collaborative mindset and a passion for biodiversity, best practices, and global impacts. Membership of CIEEM is highly regarded, although the company will also support full membership.
