About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking a qualified PE Teacher for a full-time, long-term position in Rotherham starting in September. This role offers the chance to foster athleticism and sportsmanship in students across all year groups.
Job Summary:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating PE lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Assess and record students’ progress and provide feedback to enhance their athletic performance.
- Develop a positive learning environment that promotes health and fitness.
Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize innovative teaching methods to motivate students in sports and physical education.
- Organize sports events and competitions in collaboration with other staff.
- Engage with the wider school community through sports programs and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience in teaching PE at secondary level.
- Strong motivational and team-building skills.
Note:
Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies. Background checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure, will be required for successful applicants.
