Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Shropshire area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a variety of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment. This is a field-based role, requiring travel to customer sites to provide on-site technical support and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklift trucks and materials handling equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including parts used and time spent.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in a similar role, with a background in forklift trucks, construction plant, agricultural machinery, or military vehicles and equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK driving license.
