Year 2 Class Teacher (Part-time) Toxteth, Liverpool
£300 - £420 per week June 2024 (maternity cover)   A great opportunity for an experienced teacher to work in a Year 2 class, on a part-time basis in this exciting role.   The Role

This is a position teaching a Year 2 cohort of 25 children, starting after the May half-term, and will be Mon-Fri, 08:30am-12pm.  There are a small group of low-level SEND children within the class, but behaviour across the class, and school, is outstanding.     The School

This is a small, one-form entry school in the Toxteth area of Liverpool.  The school has worked hard over the years to tackle behaviour, implementing a strong, whole-school behaviour management policy, which has had a positive impact from EYFS-KS2.  Prior to COVID-19, they were inspected by OFSTED and were graded as 'Good' with outstanding areas.    Requirements

To be considered for this teacher position, you will:

• Hold QTS status in the UK
• Have experience teaching in KS1
• Have some experience of supporting or leading phonics screening tests
• Have experience working in mainstream British Schools and be able to demonstrate teaching excellence
