Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior CAD Technician to join a growing design team in their Western Edinburgh office.

As a CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in all projects, assisting in the design and drafting of engineering plans and blueprints across Rail and Bridge sectors, UK wide.

Key Requirements:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must.
  • Preferred additional experience in Civils3D and MicroStation.
  • Background in rail/bridge projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for precision.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineers and design teams to create accurate and detailed drawings.
  • Work on a variety of engineering projects, with a focus on rail-related design and drafting.
  • Utilise AutoCAD, Civils3D, and MicroStation software to produce high-quality technical drawings.
  • Review and revise drawings to ensure they meet project specifications.
  • Assist in maintaining project documentation and records.
