The Automation Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- HNC or equivalent Electrical Engineering qualifications or relevant discipline.
- Previous experience with Control Systems in an industrial/ manufacturing setting.
- Good software knowledge – Siemens, Allen Bradley etc.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Development of control systems from specification through to testing & commissioning.
- Providing support to other engineers when required & working closely with Project Managers to ensure everything is to customer standards.
- Maintaining documentation.
- Ensuring budgets are met.
- Ensuring health & safety standards are met at all times.
