Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a Chef in Northumberland, on a temporary ongoing basis covering long-term sickness and holidays.

What's on offer?

• Monday to Friday, 9am until 2pm
• £12.50 to £15.00 per hour - depending on experience
• Weekly pay, directly into your bank account

Working as a Chef, your duties and responsibilities

• Create menus, prepare and cook food - noting any special dietary needs
• Source, place and manage orders for necessary food ingredients and kitchen cleaning consumables
• Check and record all food and kitchen consumables deliveries, quantities of ingredients used and the number of meals produced and served
• Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen, its equipment and surrounding areas
• Ensure the Food Hygiene and Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to at all times
• Report faults in equipment and request necessary day to day maintenance of premises
• Carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job

To be successful within this role you will have a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate, and a Food allergens certificate. Combined with the following traits:
