About the role

Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Site Administrator to join our Regional Scotland business unit to work in Inverness.

Role Purpose

To provide a range of specialist and general administrative duties to a nominated team.

What you'll be doing

  • Undertake a full range of administrative duties to ensure an efficient service is delivered to allocated team
  • General Admin duties – Minutes of meetings/typing/photocopying/scanning
  • Screen incoming mail, telephone calls and emails on behalf of team and manage all appropriate correspondence
  • Be fully conversant in MS Office to produce a range of spread sheets, documents and presentations, as required
  • Familiarity with report writing and preparation
  • Undertake multi diary management and plan schedules in diaries to optimise the working time of allocated team
  • Arrange and attend team meetings/conferences as required, to take minutes, and ensure appropriate facilities are organised
  • Perform ad hoc confidential project work, as required
  • Maintain accurate and secure paper based/electronic filing systems, including archiving
  • Maintain full confidentiality of sensitive business issues
  • Live the Balfour Beatty Values

  • Support the delivery of UKCS’s Sustainability activities

Who we're looking for

The following qualities / experience are required:

  • Secretarial and/or administrative experience
  • Highly organised and able to work on own initiative
  • Strong communicator
  • Excellent team working skills, and able to build relationships at all levels
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight timescales
  • Very strong customer focus
  • Excellent typing speed and IT Skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word,PowerPoint) and Sharepoint
