Job Description

We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our team to support with the day to day running of our various courses. The role will involve a mixture of work across our various construction commercial management courses, including but not limited to, marking students’ assignments providing detailed feedback, updating, and editing lecture slides and creating/editing course syllabus and learning outcomes.

A strong candidate will have a background in the construction industry, will be a chartered member of RICS, CIArb or similar, having worked on a variety of projects, good verbal and written skills and a consistent work ethic.

This is a full-time position working in a modern office in the heart of Farnham town centre.

The role will involve a Tuesday-to-Saturday working schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lecturing your expert field.

- Providing counselling for learners through the RICS process.

- Assist with marking student assignments providing detailed feedback.

- Creating and updating lecture slides.

- Creating and updating course syllabus and learning outcomes.

- Covering lectures for other courses.

- Supporting with ad hock projects.

Key Requirements:

- Hold relevant academic qualification ideally to degree level or equivalent, teaching skills, fellow/chartered Member of the RICS or the CIArb or equivalent level professional qualification.

- Experience of at least 10 years exposure in claims preparation and dispute resolution.

- A good understanding of standard forms of contracts (FIDIC/NEC/JCT etc)

- A positive can-do attitude.

- Be open-minded and able to adapt to any challenges which may arise.
