Class Teacher (Primary)

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Hours: Full time

Salary: £150 - £200 per day

An exceptional school in the Newcastle area is seeking a Class teacher for September 2024. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about working with primary aged children, you could be working either in Early years, KS1 or KS2. The school is amazing and has a friendly feeling and supportive staff member. This is term time only.

Class Teacher role

• Teach all areas of the primary curriculum.
• Take responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age pupils.
• Model good teaching practice to engage and inspire students of all abilities both in and out of lessons.
• Have excellent team spirit and good behaviour management skills.
• Be enthusiastic about teaching and have a strong command of the curriculum.
• Ability to mark and plan exciting lessons for students that are in accordance with the syllabus, strong differentiation.

Requirements

• Experience of working within a primary setting.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with us)
• Must have QTS teacher status (NQT or FQT). All ECT’s are encouraged to apply.
• Be able to work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• A full checkable work history
• Be proactive, energetic, kind, and caring.
