As the Director of Operations, you will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance across manufacturing operations. This Director of Operations will play a pivotal role in shaping my client’s strategic direction, optimising processes, and maximising productivity to support their growth objectives.

This Director of Operations duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimise manufacturing operations, drive efficiency, and enhance productivity.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team to achieve operational excellence and exceed performance targets.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration to drive positive change throughout the organisation.
  • Oversee resource allocation, capacity planning, and budget management to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Drive quality assurance initiatives to uphold the highest standards of product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and sales, to streamline processes and support business objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Parkinson | Lee Executive Search are keen to speak with Senior Operations Leaders with the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of leadership success in a manufacturing environment, with at least 7 years of experience in operations management roles.
  • Strong strategic planning and business acumen, with the ability to drive operational excellence and deliver results.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize performance and drive efficiency.
