Senior Pricing Analyst - £45,000 - Leeds (Hybrid)

Working as a Pricing Analyst in the Pricing team will give you a unique opportunity to use your expertise to drive real value and gain real pricing experience at one of the UK's leading organisations. You will have daily exposure to multiple personal lines products and the opportunity to participate in pricing reviews. You will be responsible for data preparation and analysis for these reviews in a fast moving and dynamic environment. The role will also include presenting your analysis and results to stakeholders and therefore involves the opportunity to influence pricing decisions across the business.

This position will be based from my clients Bradford office on a Hybrid working model (Wednesday onsite).

Responsibilities:

• Perform high quality analysis and produce accurate output in line with reporting, pricing, or other requirements that apply.
• Prepare product rate books and maintain required change requests with a recorded version control.
• Complete price audits for schemes and communicate all findings in a timely manner to meet expectations.
• Review rate strength and competitiveness of new propositions to meet required target loss ratios.
• Create and maintain pricing datasets used in the rate reviews and pricing projects.
• Produce reports outlining findings and communicating key results to stakeholder

Requirements:

• Numerical based degree, such as (but not limited to) Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or Economics.
• Experience in at least one of R / Python / SAS / SQL language
• Experience in using specialist pricing software (i.e. Emblem and Radar) - (Desirable)
• Experience using PowerBI (Desirable)
• Experience in the Insurance Industry (highly desirable)
• Experience with competitor analysis, pricing recommendations, compliance, documentation, and stakeholder management
