Senior HR Advisor - Stockport

About the Role: As a Senior HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in our company's growth and development, focusing on people and HR. You will need a deep understanding of HR policies and procedures, excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels, and a proactive, can-do attitude to deliver exceptional service while being an ambassador for our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to management and employees.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement HR strategies that align with our organizational goals.
  • Coordinate recruitment and lead onboarding processes across the business.
  • Oversee benefits administration, including pension enrollments and payroll queries, in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Work with management to identify and address team training and development needs.
  • Stay updated on HR trends, legislative changes, and best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Recommend improvements to existing policies and procedures.
  • Undertake HR-related projects as required by the leadership team.
About You:

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced commercial environment, ideally in a stand-alone HR advisory/managerial role.
  • Minimum Level 5 HR certification is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and compliance, with the ability to apply this knowledge in decision-making.
  • Experience in handling complex employee relations issues with tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong commercial acumen and adaptability to meet changing business needs as the company grows.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS systems and the MS Office suite.
