Expleo Engineering are seeking a Workshop Controller to work at our clients site in Sunderland on a long-term contract, via ourselves.

Responsibilities of the Workshop Controller include:
* Signing off PPMs/breakdowns and following up work orders that require action to progress.
* Ensuring 5S, LOLER, BV, COSHH and H&S standards are maintained.
* Problem solving any fleet issues and dealing with customer complaints.
* Managing performance productivity whilst supporting the team of technicians.
* Supporting engineering, safety, production, maintenance with fleet related issues.
* Ordering and booking parts that are used daily.
* Requesting any quotations required from suppliers and unpacking and checking parts deliveries.
* Ensuring the best value for money dictated by monthly budget when prioritising work in the garage.

Background, skills and experience required for the Workshop Controller role:
* Educated to City & Guilds / BTEC / IMI / NVQ level.
* Prior experience within a Workshop Controller/ Supervisor role.
* Experience leading and mentoring a team of technicians.
* Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with site customers.
