Location: Bolton (hybrid 2 days per week at head office)
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum dependent on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: 6 month FTC
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Communications Executive.
About the role:
Outcomes First Group recent and projected growth has created an exciting opportunity for an Senior Communications Executiveinternal communicati to join our team. The purpose of the role is to lead on business-critical project communications. Reporting to the Head of Communications and Engagement, this role suits someone with a strong communications background, who excels in translating complex ideas into clear and compelling messages.
Responsibilities:
- Write compelling copy for internal projects, including announcements, updates, and reports whilst maintaining consistency with messaging and tone.
- Lead the communications workstream for internal projects, driving stakeholder engagement and alignment.
- Develop tailored messages for different stakeholders, simplifying complex information to ensure clarity and understanding.
- Create comprehensive communications plans, outlining key objectives, strategies and tactics.
- Collaborate with internal functions including HR, Projects, and the Executive Leadership team to develop and deliver engaging internal communications.
- Identify key stakeholders and build great working relationships at all levels, producing business-critical project communications and supporting leaders with effective communication delivery.
- Support the Head of Internal Communications and Engagement and provide input into the Internal Communications & Engagement strategy.
- Optimise our internal communications channels to ensure we reach colleagues effectively - this includes current channels as well as implementing new ones when required.
- Coordinate the delivery of communications, ensuring timely dissemination and consistent messaging.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communications, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on effective communication practices and techniques.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in change communications, incorporating new ideas and approaches into strategies as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a communication focused role, preferably supporting change programmes within large and complex organisations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and evaluate communication strategies to support organisational objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with communication tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of best practices in internal communications, employee engagement, and change management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
