Info about what the Financial Accountant entails

•    Lead specific tasks in preparing monthly management accounts, including fixed assets register maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, and period end journals.
•    Prepare group statutory accounts, ensuring accurate supporting documents and disclosures.
•    Collaborate with external auditors and advisors during the audit process.
•    Coordinate R&D tax credit filings with external advisors, HMRC, and internal stakeholders.

Essential Requirements of the Financial Accountant
•    Practical experience with audit processes.
•    Experience preparing statutory accounts and statutory accounting.
•    Ensuring accurate disclosures.
•    Familiarity with manufacturing accounting principles, including the Bill of Materials (BOM).
•    Proficiency with the IFS Finance system.
•    ACA or ACCA qualified
